The role is based in New Century KS (onsite role). You will play a critical role in delivering site capital projects that support safe efficient and reliable food ingredients manufacturing operations. Working closely with site leadership and crossfunctional partners you will help translate business needs into executed capital solutions.
Where Youll Make a Difference
- Lead the endtoend execution of site minor capital programs with a total portfolio value up to $5M and individual projects typically up to $1M
- Execute projects from inception through operational handover ensuring compliance with site and corporate engineering and safety processes
- Partner with operations maintenance engineering technology safety quality and procurement to deliver robust project outcomes
- Drive design development constructability and safetyindesign throughout all project phases
- Maintain disciplined control of cost schedule and performance including forecasting and monthly capital reporting
- Manage internal resources and external engineering and construction partners to ensure scope quality and schedule adherence
- Support readinesstooperate commissioning and closeout activities including documentation and financial closure
- Contribute to site capital planning supporting project prioritization aligned to operational and business needs
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Process/Chemical Mechanical Electrical Food Technology BioTech) or equivalent technical experience
- 2 years of experience executing capital projects in food chemical pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals industry codes and manufacturing systems
- Experience with project management fundamentals including scheduling cost control and risk management
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes utilities equipment DCS systems and Management of Change (MOC)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a site environment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across crossfunctional and external teams
- Comfort working in a handson onsite manufacturing setting
How Would You Stand Out
- Experience executing projects through a formal minor capital project process
- Knowledge of SAP capital cost controls or portfolio management tools
- OSHA 30 (Construction Safety) or equivalent certification
