Position Summary:TheTeacheris responsible fordesigning and delivering engaging instruction that promotes academic achievement personal growth and the well-being of all students. This role requires fostering a positive inclusive classroom environmentmaintaininghigh standardsof professionalism and collaborating with colleagues families and administrators to support the schools mission. Through innovative teaching effective assessment andstrong communication the Teacher ensures students are preparedto win their future -in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a safe inclusive and engaging educational environment wherestudent-athletesare encouraged to achieve their holistic potential.

• Design implement and adapt instructional activities that align with curriculum standards and foster active meaningful student learning.

• Develop administer and analyze assessments tomonitorstudent progress inform instruction and ensure continuous growth toward learningobjectives.

• Differentiate instruction byidentifying selecting andmodifyingresources to meet the needs of student-athletes with diverse backgrounds learning styles and abilities.

• Establish andmaintaina positive classroom culture that promotes respect responsibility and self-disciplinein accordance withschool policies.

• Maintainaccurateandtimelyrecords including grades attendance and other documentation required by laws accreditation standards and school regulations.

• Communicate consistently and effectively with students parents colleagues and administratorsregardingstudent progress needs and achievements.

• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction and student engagement.

• Collaborate with colleagues andparticipatein professional learning opportunities to support school initiatives and ongoing professional growth.

• Modelhigh standardsof professionalism ethics and integrity in all interactions with students families and the community.

• Support school events extracurricular activities and other duties that contribute to a positive school community.

• Adhereto all school policies procedures and professional codes of conduct.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant subject area

• Strong classroom management skillsrequired

• Highly organized; flexible in meeting the needs of boarding students and their families

• Ability to design and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of a diverse student population

• Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with students families and colleagues.

• Technologically savvy

PreferredQualifications:

• Masters degree in relevant subject area

• Experience working with student athletes

• Former student-athlete

• International education experience

• Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift movepushand pull equipment or boxesin excess of40lbs.

• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonableperiod of time.

• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym turf fields etc.

Background Requirements:
