The Opportunity
This role offers more than a typical sales position its an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers and deliver real value to clients.
As a Business Development Manager your primary focus will be on generating new business creating opportunities and developing long-term relationships. Proactive outreach including cold calling will be a key part of the role so confidence and persistence are essential.
While experience managing existing accounts is beneficial bringing an established client base is not required. What matters most is your drive attitude and ability to secure new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling email campaigns LinkedIn and networking
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Identify qualify and convert new opportunities
- Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Lead consultative sales meetings to understand client needs
- Recommend tailored IT solutions across cybersecurity cloud infrastructure and continuity
- Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process and onboarding
About You
- Experience in B2B sales business development or lead generation
- Comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated target-driven and results-focused
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using CRM systems and sales tools
- Ambitious coachable and eager to progress your career
