GL Accountant (R2R) International SSC

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented innovative hands-on and passionateGL Accountant(Record-to-Report) to join our growingShared Services CenterinLisbon.

You will own key General Ledger activities (month-end close reconciliations journal entries) across several European markets working in an international environment with strong exposure to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities Will Include Among Others

• Perform month-end closing activities (journal entries accruals validations)
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain and analyse General Ledger accounts
• Support reporting in Oracle / HFM
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal policies
• Collaborate with local finance teams across EuropeLocation

The position will be based inLisbon (Portugal)

Experience And Qualifications

As a result we are looking for aself-starterandhigh potential/ top performerindividual who will combineAccounting knowledgewith a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.

• Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)
• 28 years of experience in General Ledger / R2R roles
• Solid experience in month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• - Experience with ERP systems (Oracle SAP or similar)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
