POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentice to join our team on projects around the Swift Current area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience on commercial sites and is willing to work out of town during the week as required.
Shift: Monday to Friday 8-10 hours a day

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain good customer relations with site personnel and customers
- Comply with Companys corporate Health and Safety manual
- Adhere to the Company and the customers policies and procedures as they apply to each project
- Ensure project safety policies are followed at all times
- Responsible for efficient use of materials equipment and performance of all field related activities for each tasks/project
- Ensure field work is executed in compliance with instructions given
- Be able to take directions and be receptive to training and mentoring
- Apply yourself to learn and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Proficient tool usage both personal and supplied
- Work with multiple types of installations
- Attend daily/weekly site meetings and all training required
- Maintain clean driving abstract and Drug and Alcohol clearance
- Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers and co-workers during all contact displaying positive behaviour attitude and workmanship habits in a respectful and empathetic way
- Follow the direction of your supervisor in the proper use of tools materials and techniques for most efficient electrical installations
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 2nd 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or completion of an Electrical Pre-Employment program combined with relevant hands-on experience.
- Current Fall Arrest and EWP Certificates
- Ability to lift carry push and pull
- Ability to bend climb squat reach and kneel
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Clear and maintain a clean driving and drug and alcohol clearance
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
