Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its growing Finance & Accounting team in Los Angeles. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact organization during an exciting growth phase.
This role sits within FP&A and offers exposure across revenue analysis reconciliations budgeting forecasting and financial operations. The ideal candidate is analytical has some accounting experience is detail-oriented systems-savvy and excited to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance or accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance while partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple revenue streams including admissions memberships retail dining and events
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to revenue activity and financial reporting
- Support budgeting forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis
- Analyze operating data trends and financial performance metrics
- Assist with invoice processing reporting and journal entry support
- Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to support budgeting and financial operations
- Support financial planning initiatives and special projects
- Work across multiple financial systems and platforms to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 13 years of accounting finance or financial analysis experience
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and accounting fundamentals
- Experience using ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with an investigative/problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment
Preferred Background:
- Experience working across multiple systems or platforms
- Exposure to budgeting forecasting or FP&A activities
- Experience in private industry environments preferred
- Startup high-growth or operationally complex environments are a plus
$60000 - $70000 a year
