Under general supervision of the Director of College Advising (DCA) the Coordinator of EOP and College Advising Services:

• Provides comprehensive academic advisement for all students assigned to College of Arts Media and Communication (CAMC) Student Services Center/Educational Opportunity Program (SSC/EOP).
• Coordinates activities related to monitoring EOP student transition and academic progress including but not limited to follow-up with students and responses to faculty alerts.
• Assists the DCA and Student Services Professional IV (SSP IV) with the coordination planning and implementation of first year advisement for all incoming first-time freshmen and transfers.
• Represents the SSC/EOP satellite and CAMC at on and off-campus events recruitment activities and on university committees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Benefits & Work Schedule

• The university offers an excellent benefits package including but not limited to: medical dental vision retirement & savings tuition waiver and more.
• Classification: 3084 / SSP III/ Grade 1
• The anticipated HIRING RATE is $5540 per month. The salary range for this classification is: $5540 - $7893 per month.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
• This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
• The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office 1 day remote); however this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
