Under general supervision of the Director of College Advising (DCA) the Coordinator of EOP and College Advising Services:
- Provides comprehensive academic advisement for all students assigned to College of Arts Media and Communication (CAMC) Student Services Center/Educational Opportunity Program (SSC/EOP).
- Coordinates activities related to monitoring EOP student transition and academic progress including but not limited to follow-up with students and responses to faculty alerts.
- Assists the DCA and Student Services Professional IV (SSP IV) with the coordination planning and implementation of first year advisement for all incoming first-time freshmen and transfers.
- Represents the SSC/EOP satellite and CAMC at on and off-campus events recruitment activities and on university committees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
