Job Summary
ASU FIDM invites applications for Summer Session Instructors to teach Summer Camps in Fashion at our locations in Downtown Phoenix and the ASU California Center in Los Angeles.
These positions are one-week appointments part time non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications. A typical Summer Camp Instructor course load is one to two camps.
Essential duties include:preparing course materials guiding student workfacilitating workshops responding to and evaluating student work one-on-one assistance andensuring classroom safety.
The number of courses is contingent upon needs funding and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Summer Camp Instructors may not hold multiple non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is$300 per day (5 days).
Anticipated start date is: June 15 2026.

- Associates degree in a relevant field and 4 years of industry experience or a Bachelors degree in relevant field and 2 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to teaching excellence
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant field
- Record of scholarly publication and/or evidence of professional development in relevant field
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching experience
