• Shift: Day Shift
• Timing: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
• Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (37.5 hours/week)
• Working Days: FridaySunday

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech to support a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical team in a Level 1 Trauma environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac vascular and thoracic procedures demonstrate excellent sterile technique and effectively assist during complex surgeries. First-time travelers with relevant trauma experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Assist surgeons during complex cardiac vascular and transplant procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments supplies and equipment
• Receive and prepare pump lines from perfusion for cannulation
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and infection control protocols
• Support surgical teams during emergency and trauma cases
• Perform surgical counts and assist with room turnover
• Collaborate with surgeons nurses perfusionists and anesthesia teams

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Strong background in vascular and thoracic surgical procedures

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Valve Replacement
• TAVR / TEVAR / EVAR
• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
• Heart & Lung Transplant
• Aortic Dissection Repair
• Mitral Valve Replacement
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• Robotic-assisted cardiac surgery
• Pericardial window procedures

Certifications

• BCLS certification (required)
• NBSTSA certification (required)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma experience
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
