As a Security Officer Entry Validation Agent in Allentown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor access points verify credentials and help support a smooth flow of people and visitors throughout the site. This access control role combines attentive observation strong communication and customer service while contributing to a professional welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or delivery personnel by following access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials process visitors and/or vendors and maintain accurate access logs for the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including building entrances parking areas and perimeter points as conditions vary by site.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by observing for unusual activity reporting concerns and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
