Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a General Medical Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients
- Administer medications IV therapies and advanced critical care treatments
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment and life-support systems
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Cerner EMR
- Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity ICU setting
