Job Summary
Challenger School is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a music teacher at our Avery Ranch campus. Music is a vital part of Challengers proven curriculum. As a music teacher at Challenger you will be responsible for teaching children music concepts such as rhythm singing recognition interpretation movement and dance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple grade levels and will also plan and direct the music for the annual Christmas Sing and Spring Program events. Full or Part-time is available. Responsibilities Thoroughly learn Challengers curriculum teaching methods and philosophy Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment Assist teachers in multiple classes with music curriculum and concepts Work patiently with students parents and coworkers Qualifications2 years of college education or equivalent classic music training and experience in music voice and piano Proficiency in piano accompaniment and voice delivery techniques Ability to pass a background check Completion of pre-employment assessments Position Offerings Health Insurance Paid time off 401k Significant tuition discounts for children and grandchildrenCompetitive wage of $29 per hour depending on experience. **Please be on the lookout for an email This email confirms your application submission and provides you with a link to our pre-employment assessment.
