Job Summary

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker who is flexible willing has a positive attitude and superior customer service skills for a management position.

As an Itinerant Assistant Manager at Green Acres Foundation you would be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Reporting to the Director Operations and assisting in the overall operations of Foundation seniors facilities overseeing:
    • Food Services
    • Housekeeping
    • Maintenance
    • Recreation and Activities
    • Health Care (where required)
  • Assisting the site manager in leading motivating mentoring and retaining a diverse staff team that works collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring administrative and reporting functions relating to facility operations are maintained to established standards.
  • Assisting the site manager with scheduling requirements and liaising with Human Resources as required.
  • Ensuring that the facility and equipment are maintained to organizational standards.
  • Promoting and marketing the facility to prospective residents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service-related management position.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in an active environment.
  • Customer service expertise.
  • Standard First Aid certification.
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in 24/7 environment an asset
  • Experience in training and developing staff an asset.
