Job Summary
This will typically be a Monday - Friday position doing local P&D in our service area with a straight truck or tractor trailer work - weekends may be required but advance notice is given if required
Start times will vary depending on volume and customer commitments
You will be required to load/unload your trailer based on your run sheet
You will be required to use a handheld scanner to load / deliver / pickup freight
Perform your daily peddle in a safe and efficient manner in a 5 Ton or Tractor Trailer
This run may include Baxter home deliveries (white glove)
Qualifications :
- Able to multi-task in a fast fast-paced environment
- Must be hard working customer orientated and have a good knowledge of the city and service our area
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs
- Forklift qualified (will train)
- Comfortable with computers (Handheld delivery units - we will train)
- Comfortable with in-home deliveries to medical patients which includes moving freight inside the patients home
- Valid AZ Drivers License
- Clean Criminal record
- Provide Clean Drivers Abstract
- TDG / Fork Truck Certification (will train)
- Able to accept change mid-stream
- Punctual reliable and a Team Player
- You have previous experience with LTL freight and are driven to succeed!
