Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting security-related concerns at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal management as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas fenced perimeters and/or restricted operational areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify issues needing attention.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor logs deliveries and/or contractor entry in accordance with site policies for controlled government facility access.
• Document daily activities patrol findings maintenance concerns and/or incident details in written reports logs and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
