The Department
NCDOT s Procurement Office is responsible for administering DOTs program for the acquisition for all non-IT by purchase lease or rental of equipment materials supplies printing and services for all DOT with the exception of Division of Highways (DOH) construction-related projects and the maintenance of those projects. This oversight responsibility includes but is not limited to:
Training and oversight of the acquisition of goods and services
Serving as DOTs Liaison with P&C.
Making all contact with P&C for NCDOT Divisions and Business Units purchases.
The Role
Assist in the solicitation of goods and services for the different divisions and business units within NCDOT.
Assist in the day-to-day processes needed to support the successful procurement of goods and/or services for NCDOT.
The goal is to provide professional development with a goal of achieving a viable future employee.
Training
On the job training professional development site visits.
Location
Raleigh NC Hybrid
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: $28.08/hr. $29.36/hr.
Management prefers applicants with the following:

- Ability to analyze and organize data
- Ability to appear and communicate professionally
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Education and Experience of Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in business administration Accounting Finance from NC HBCU/MSI
- Graduation between 2023-2026
