Housekeeper

WHATS THE JOB

The Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness sanitation and overall presentation of guest rooms dormitories washrooms and common areas at a worldclass Dexterra camp facility.

This project will launch at approximately 500 rooms and scale rapidly to more than 4000 rooms requiring Housekeepers who are detailoriented reliable and committed to high standards. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Lead Housekeeper you will ensure accommodations remain clean safe and guestready at all times.

This role requires working in a fastpaced teambased environment with daily room assignments and cleaning checklists.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE

• Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and dormitories including:
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Dusting and sanitizing hightouch surfaces
  • Emptying garbage and recycling
• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and shower facilities
• Sweeping mopping and vacuuming hallways stairwells and common areas
• Completing room turnovers and checkouts according to schedules
• Cleaning and sanitizing laundry rooms and public hightouch points
• Collecting laundering folding and restocking towels and linens
• Maintaining a clean organized housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Reporting maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Following all safety infectioncontrol and PPE requirements
• Assisting with additional housekeeping or janitorial tasks as assigned

Qualifications :

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in housekeeping janitorial or commercial cleaning preferred
• Experience in hotel institutional workforce accommodations camp or lodge environments considered an asset
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures chemicals and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 3550 pounds
• Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation procedures
