The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced DPS Testing Manager to lead and oversee all testing activities for Digital Passport System (DPS) at Hitachi Ltd. This role involves ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our DPS solutions through robust testing strategies and execution.

How you will make an impact

• Develop implement and manage comprehensive testing strategies and plans for DPS initiatives including functional integration performance and security testing.

• Lead and mentor a team of DPS testers fostering a culture of quality continuous improvement and collaboration.

• Define and establish testing methodologies tools and processes ensuring alignment with industry best practices and Hitachis quality standards.

• Oversee the creation and execution of test cases test scripts and test data ensuring thorough coverage and traceability to requirements.

• Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with development and operations teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

• Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing cycles.

• Monitor and report on testing progress risks and quality metrics to stakeholders and senior management.

• Collaborate with product owners developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure testability of DPS solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process incorporating lessons learned and emerging technologies.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies related to data processing and quality assurance.

Your background

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field (Masters preferred); ISTQB certification is a plus.

• 8 years of experience in software testing and QA including 3 years in leadership or management roles.

• Strong hands-on experience testing data processing services data pipelines ETL processes and large-scale data systems.

• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and testing types (functional regression performance non-functional).

• Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG JMeter Postman) plus SQL and database testing.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) CI/CD pipelines and strong leadership

• English at high level. Spanish would be a plus.
