Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing the flow of finished goods and supplies to and from the warehouses of Layer Farm Rearing Farm EGPP and Satellite Warehouse. Ensures accuracy of inventory and the maintaining inventory levels makes necessary analysis and reports per inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
FINISHED GOODS
Monitor finished goods inventory (Actual and System)
Monitor and ensure finished goods storage and handling (FIFO)
Coordinates with other department to ensure monitoring of aging eggs slow/non moving products and provides reports regularly for immediate disposition (Eggventory)
Provide reports on non-confirming products (Condemned report)
Monitor and ensure customers packaging requirements are met.
SUPPLIES & SPARES
Monitor supplies inventory (Actual and System)
Monitor materials receiving usage and storage (FIFO)
Monitor and ensures accuracy of materials replenishment
Monitor and ensure materials cleaning (Plastic Crates Trays Pallets)
Monitor and ensure supplies handling
Provide materials reports (Month End Reports System Variance etc.)
Ensure Warehouse equipment and facilities are working and in good condition
Coordinates with other department to ensure monitoring of inventory accuracy
SYSTEM TRANSACTIONS
Perform Goods Receiving (GR) for direct deliveries/pickup/services
Perform Goods Issuance (GI) - Ensures the timely preparation and issuance of inventories (Finished Goods Medvacs Supplies Spares Feeds)
Perform Feeds Transactions (PO/STO-IBD-GR-GI)
Create Purchase Requisitions (e.g. medicines vaccines farm supplies and others upon the instruction of the farm manager and farm supervisor.)
Digital Invoice Register (DIR) Reimbursements (EHUB)
GENERAL
Implements Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)
Makes necessary analysis of all inventory reports.
Address system variance concern validate and update system accordingly.
Ensures accuracy of on-hand inventories against system records & escalates issues related to inventory shortages and discrepancies; Initiates investigation to ensure accuracy and completeness of FG and supplies Inventory records.
Manage and perform monthly mid-year and periodic physical inventory count.
Endorsement of Monthly inventory count variances.
Ensures that all warehousing related documents and reports (Actual and System) are accomplished and submitted in a timely manner.
FARM BIOSECURITY POLICY
Ensures that the companys biosecurity policies and SOPs are strictly followed.
Review on processes and practices that may help improve the existing biosecurity procedures.
FOOD SAFETY
Comply with the companys quality Halal health and food safety policies standards and regulations.
Responsible for reporting Halal food safety and quality management system issues to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications :
- A graduate of any four year course preferably in Agriculture Logistics or Supply Chain Management or relevant experience in the field.
- Experience in related work is preferred but not necessary.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures specifically in relation to inventory.
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of electronic spreadsheet and presentation applications.
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
