Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated teacher with experience in teaching Art at GCSE and IBDP. The ability to also teach Design Technology at KS3 is important.

The role will initially be based at Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) and may require the candidate to work in another campus in the future.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong English national curriculum knowledge a successful track record in teaching Art and Design including ideally within the IBDP framework with evidence of the ability to teach Design Technology to KS3. We are particularly keen to hear from teachers with expertise in sculpture digital art photography or textile which would complement the art skills of current staff. A willingness to fully subscribe to our school mission Academic Excellence Breadth of Experience and Character & Community (ABC) is fundamental to our appointment to this post.

The Role

Art Design and Design Technology are studied by all students at KS3 and are popular option choices at both GCSE and IBDP. The Art department offers a range of disciplines and the teaching spaces are equipped to deliver drawing painting printing sculpture textiles design and mixed media work. Primarily based in the Art department the successful candidate will become part of a small team supported by a technician who aspire to deal with the broad area of Art and Design incorporating many aspects of study under this. Accommodation is in purpose built rooms and is well resourced.

The salary range for this position is 451615 - 614586 gross EUR monthly (full-time) depending on experience. All figures shown are including the 9% holiday allowance.
