We are looking for someone who asks uncomfortable questions rethinks pricing architecture from first principles and ensures we have the right revenue levers in place for our next growth phase.
About The Role
Pricing Strategy & Commercial Logic
- Own FlixTrains pricing and revenue management strategy end-to-end with a clear 35 year horizon
- Evolve our product logic: which tickets which conditions which pricing architecture does the rail market need
- Analyze competitive positioning and translate findings into concrete pricing decisions
- Own and drive revenue-relevant strategic decisions: route prioritization capacity questions yield logic
RMS & Automation
- Define how a train-specific Revenue Management System should think not technically but strategically
- Drive the evolution of dynamic pricing demand forecasting and automated price steering as core scaling levers
- Partner closely with our tech team who owns implementation from requirements through deployment
Performance & Steering
- Own forecasting and budget planning delivering regular revenue updates
- Build transparent KPIs and dashboards to steer pricing and load factors incl. data quality and RMS calibration
- Serve as sparring partner to the CCO and senior leadership translating complex dynamics into clear recommendations
Leadership & Team
- Take over a team of two experienced professionals (Revenue Manager Analyst) and develop it further
- Act as the central interface to Network Planning Marketing Finance and Operations
- The team will stay focused and lean the appeal of this role lies in its intellectual scope not headcount
About You
- 7 years of experience in Revenue Management Pricing or a comparable data-driven role
- Proven track record in dynamic pricing and demand forecasting in scaling environments
- Experience in industries with perishable inventory rail airline coach hotel or mobility
- Understanding of RMS logic ideally experience in evolving such systems
- Strategic thinking combined with a genuine hands-on mindset
- A disposition that refuses to accept the status quo
