What Youll Do:
- Assist with field investigations including soil and rock sampling drilling oversight and groundwater monitoring
- Collect and interpret geologic and environmental data through field observations measurements and testing
- Prepare logs maps and figures to support technical reports
- Perform data analysis and assist in drafting reports proposals and recommendations
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in field and lab settings
- Support senior staff in evaluating geologic hazards and site conditions
- Maintain accurate field records and documentation
- Bachelors degree in Geology Environmental Engineering or related discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
- Previous consulting experience is a plus
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites
Salary Range:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description
