Description of Work
The primary purpose of the position of Coordinator of Dental Services at OBerry Center is to insure proper dental health and oral hygiene for the residents. This is accomplished through a comprehensive program that includes planning administration and delivery of dental services and training. This leads to good dental health and independence of residents in the area of maintaining oral hygiene.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade Range: $128636 - $257272 Annually

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Thorough knowledge of all phases of dentistry and clinical skills and physical ability to practice quality comprehensive dentistry.
Knowledge of the dental needs of the population being served.
Ability to supervise assigned personnel.
Ability to provide training including lectures for dental students and dental hygiene students.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients departmental personnel and other professional groups both in and outside of the institution.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday / Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Per G.S. 126-5(c1) (37) this position is Exempt from all provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 (State Human Resources Act) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7.

Veterans and National Guard Preference

Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of North Carolina and two years of experience in the general practice of dentistry.
