Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED) or Designate as a member of the OOS Team you will be accountable for successfully assisting the Executive Director and supporting other managers in administrative tasks that may include and are not limited to:
- Primarily providing confidential support to the Executive Director
- Providing confidential support to OOS Management
- Attending meetings and generating confidential agendas/minutes
- Creating and maintaining personnel files
- Coordinating and assisting with planning of schedules/meetings for the ED/Managers
- Maintaining and ordering office supplies
- Providing support to the Finance Manager with billing and receipting duties
- Collect record and submit admission and discharge information/statistics
- Maintaining various administrative records
Liaison with varies stakeholders/companies
- Answering phone redirecting calls/taking messages
- Greeting and assisting visitors/clients/residents at the front office and maintains good public relations
- Works co-operatively with all members of the larger WBSCH team; and
- Adhere to the Mission Vision and Values of The Salvation Army and WBSCH.
Additional text:
Preference will be given to an individual with formal certification and experience in at least two of the following areas:
Minimum of 2 years health care experience with demonstrated skill in computer
Strong interpersonal effectiveness organizational and problem-solving abilities
Certificate in Office Education / Business Administration
