Assume the overall responsibility for management of the operating room to which you are assigned. Have the opportunity to circulate as well as scrub. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave room F8/170 (subject to change traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one week. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation ventricular tachycardia asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks 1 incorrect answer will cause failure Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation ventricular tachycardia asystole and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the individual does not pass on the second attempt their contract may be cancelled. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned.
