Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a General Medical Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to clinical changes
- Administer medications IV therapies and critical care treatments
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment and life-support systems
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR
- Deliver safe patient-centered care while following hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity environment
