Job Summary

Durban North.Established company in the Automotive Parts industry is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with automotive procurement experience and strong knowledge of vehicle components and aftermarket parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase automotive spare parts from approved suppliers
Negotiate pricing delivery schedules and payment terms
Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders to avoid stock shortages
Maintain accurate purchasing records and monitor supplier performance
Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure product availability
Stay updated on market trends and new product lines
Expand and maintain the supplier network

Requirements:

Minimum 12 years experience in buying or procurement within the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of vehicle components and aftermarket parts
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel and Odoo
Matric certificate essential
Relevant Diploma or Degree advantageous
