Inside Sales Intern

SUMMARY:The Sales Intern will support the Sales team by assisting with lead generation customer outreach market research and sales operations. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional sales environment offering exposure to customer relationship management sales strategies and business development activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented eager to learn and interested in pursuing a career in sales or business FUNCTIONS: Assist the Sales team with prospecting lead tracking and pipeline research on potential clients markets and preparation of sales presentations proposals and and maintain accurate data in the CRM in client calls meetings and sales events when in coordinating marketing and promotional activities that support sales general administrative support to the Sales an understanding of business concepts and the identification of customer segments and assist in basic segmentation exposure to customer behavior preferences and market basic visualizations of business data using Excel. Be prepared to present as needed. Learn to present data visually for easier interpretation. Be open to a variety of methods. Help in preparing basic reports and documentation. Develop the skill of communicating findings in a clear and concise in assessing the impact of price changes on sales and in conducting market research for basic customer to a repository of pricing decisions and to adapt pricing strategies in response to changing market to identify potential risks associated with pricing in evaluating and mitigating risks in pricing to the teams objectives and understand the companys overall and create basic reports and visualizations of business data using ExcelEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Business Marketing Communications or a related SKILLS & ABILITIES:Technical proficiency in data analysis is helpful. Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel. Strong administrative skills. Must be very detail oriented. Exceptional oral and written communications. High level of patience and service. Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills. Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
