This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse collection of wildlife including mammals birds reptiles and aquatic species in a fast-paced and collaborative Responsibilities:Assist veterinarians with exams diagnostics and medical procedures across a wide variety of speciesAdminister medications and treatments as directedMonitor animal health behavior and recoveryPrepare and maintain surgical and treatment areasPerform laboratory work (bloodwork fecals cytology etc.)Maintain accurate medical recordsSupport preventative care programsAssist with animal restraint and handling as neededCollaborate with animal care staff to ensure continuity of careQualifications:Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred or equivalent experienceExperience with exotic zoo or wildlife species preferredStrong clinical and technical skillsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting standing outdoor conditions)Comfortable working around large and potentially dangerous animals (with proper protocols)Team-oriented with strong communication skillsFlexible schedule including weekends and holidaysWhat We Offer:Unique hands on experience with a wide variety of exotic speciesThe chance to be part of meaningful conservation and animal care workHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the position to
