Job Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit (PCU RN)
Location: Atlanta Georgia
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Atlanta GA. This role is part of a float pool supporting multiple PCU/IMCU units with a strong cardiac patient population.
Job Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- Night shift schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- Float pool assignment across all PCU/IMCU units
- May float to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients as needed
- Patient ratio: 1:34
- EMR System: Epic
Patient Population & Clinical Experience Required:
- STEMI
- NSTEMI
- Chest Pain
- Cardiothoracic Surgery patients
- Cardiac drip management including:
- Milrinone
- Dobutamine
- Pressors
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Active RN license
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Strong cardiac care experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
