Job Summary
Title: CT Technologist Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Rockford IL 61103
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts ( or ) with weekend on-call and holiday rotation
EMR: EPIC
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic CT and related imaging procedures
Administer contrast media and maintain IV access as needed
Position patients safely and provide procedure instructions
Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety standards
Provide patient education and support during imaging
Collaborate with healthcare team members
Assist with equipment and supply management
Support training of students and new staff
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
Minimum 2 years CT experience required
ARRT Radiography certification required
ARRT CT certification required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
CPR/BLS certification required
Strong communication and patient care skills
