Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking LPN / LVN Ambulatory Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rochester NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Room and prepare patients for provider examinations
Obtain and document vital signs including blood pressure readings
Administer injections and medications as ordered
Perform EKGs and assist with diagnostic procedures
Conduct nasopharyngeal swabs and specimen collection
Perform ear flushes and other basic clinical procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation within EMR systems
Provide patient education and discharge instructions
Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Communicate effectively with patients providers and clinical staff
Float to other clinic areas as needed
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
Support smooth clinic workflow in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by clinic leadership
Requirements:
Active LPN / LVN License
Ambulatory Care experience required
Pediatric experience preferred
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with injections EKGs nasopharyngeal swabs BP monitoring and ear flushes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable punctual and adaptable
Willingness to float as required
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous outpatient or clinic experience
Experience working in pediatric ambulatory settings
