A leading healthcare facility in Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support Post-Acute Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing units on a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate patient-centered care in a collaborative environment focused on rehabilitation dementia care and long-term resident support.
The RN will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote a safe therapeutic and home-like environment while delivering high-quality nursing services across multiple units.
Unit Overview
Memory Care Unit
Long-term care setting focused on Alzheimers and dementia residents
Emphasis on behavioral support communication techniques and individualized resident care
Transitional Rehabilitation Unit
Short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services
Patient populations include post-surgical recovery fractures joint replacements stroke recovery and complex medical needs
Hands-on experience with IV therapy wound care and geriatric assessments
Long-Term Care Unit
Provides ongoing care and support in a resident-centered environment
Focus on maintaining comfort safety and quality of life
