Associate Director Medical Communications - Basel Switzerland
A Typical Day may include:
- Developing and updating standard medical response documents/Q&Asand custom response documents
- GuidingMedicaIInformation callcentercolleagues on inquiries and response quality
- Reviewing promotional and medical materials for scientific accuracy and compliance
- Preparing country-specific analytics from case trends and call volumes
- Partnering with Medical Director Field Medical and Global Comms teams
- Driving congress communication opportunities scientific communications strategyatlocal level and contributing to the abovecountriesstrategysupporting booth medical information
- Keeping inspection-ready records to support audits and health authority reviews

To be considered
APhD MD or PharmDisrequired along with5 years of Medical Communications experienceincludingat least 3 years in Medical Information and5 yearsin biotech/pharma (Medical Affairs Clinical R&D or related fields).Youllalso need anadvanced understanding of Switzerlands healthcare regulatory environmentrelevant to medical practice and the pharmaceutical industry plus strong knowledge ofEuropean medical information/scientific communications requirements(with a focus onSwissmedicand Nordic countries). Preferred qualifications includeproficiencyinEnglishand at least one ofGerman French or Italian as well as depth in medical communication strategy congress strategy scientific content development and medical education.
