As a member in Fund Servicing Operations you will be responsible for timely and accurate deliver of NAV to the FA for final release to the client. The role requires sound understanding of derivatives and managing a team ensuring accurate and timely booking of trades based on instructions received from client valuation cash and collaterals on derivative trades based upon valuation and cash report received from the clients/Fund Managers Market data and Economic trade data required for processing valuation and reconciliation of our client derivatives portfolio into various 3PDP systems such as FSDV and WINS Enterprise.
We work in a very dynamic environment and you will be expected to keep up with regular client on-boardings and technology implementations.
Job responsibilities:
- Drive Digital Ops automation end-to-end using UiPath/Alteryx/Python/Tableau (hands-on build deployment and adoption).
- Analyze historical data to identify root causes of manual matches/bookings and deliver recommendations to eliminate/reduce manual effort.
- Partner with Operations to translate needs into BRDs user stories and clear acceptance criteria; ensure BAU requirements are met.
- Partner with Technology/upstream teams on solution design build testing implementation and change management.
- Lead location strategy and expansionhire develop and upskill a high-performing team; embed continuous improvement and productivity benchmarking.
- Own governance project management and TOM execution across controls/risk global initiatives and stakeholder alignment (Product/Client Service/Middle Office/SSO/Regional leads).
- Run a strong control and resiliency agenda: control self-assessments periodic reviews KPI/aging & risk visibility to seniors and robust business resiliency planning.
Required qualifications skills and capabilities:
Graduate degree with over 10 years of relevant experience; CA/MBA (Finance)/CFA
Strong understanding of derivatives and securities markets/operations; working knowledge of OTC derivatives.
Familiarity with client valuation processes and accounting treatment across major security types (bonds equities commodities indices etc.).
Working knowledge of tools such as Xceptor Alteryx and Tableau (automation/analysis/visualization).
Control-oriented with strong appreciation of risk quality and governance (including stakeholder scorecards/reporting)
Proven ability to lead/motivate teams build stakeholder relationships and deliver client-focused outcomes.
Strong communication problem-solving attention to detail initiative ability to learn quickly work independently and perform under pressure with sound time management.
