Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Cincinnati OH. The clinician will provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients across all age groups including both critical and non-critical cases using advanced invasive and noninvasive cardiopulmonary therapies.
The ideal candidate brings strong critical care expertise NICU experience and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced acute care setting while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess treat and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures (invasive and noninvasive)
Administer oxygen therapy aerosol treatments ventilator management and airway support
Monitor patient response and adjust care plans in coordination with clinical teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions therapies and home care practices
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
Support emergency response and critical care interventions as needed
Provide guidance to students and newly oriented respiratory staff
Participate in departmental education competency programs and in-service training
May function as charge therapist or team lead when assigned
Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols policies and respiratory care standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
Active Respiratory Care license in the State of Ohio
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in acute care settings
Required NICU experience
Strong critical care and cardiopulmonary assessment skills
Excellent communication teamwork and clinical judgment
Ability to perform effectively in high-acuity fast-paced environments
Strong documentation and patient education capabilities
