Title: Occupational Therapist Inpatient & Outpatient

Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Role Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role supports a predominantly Native American patient population focusing on improving functional independence across physical cognitive emotional and developmental conditions.
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients design and implement individualized treatment plans document care in the electronic health record (EHR) and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Licensure: Active unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Arizona or eligibility for licensure
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical OT experience; strong orthopedic rehabilitation skills preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities
- Develop implement and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
- Provide specialized interventions including orthotic training sensory integration therapy ADL training and assistive technology support
- Collaborate with physicians nurses social workers and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement safety and risk management initiatives
- Support clinical education by mentoring students and assisting in staff training programs
- Maintain compliance with credentialing licensing and facility standards
