About the Role

Join Twitchs Commerce Engineering organization where were revolutionizing how viewers engage with their favorite creators. We are the teams behind Subscriptions Gifting Bits Hype Train and Turbo products. From experimental features to established systems used by millions were constantly pushing the boundaries of whats possible in live streaming.

About the team
Twitch is all about community and our Community Team is a core pillar of what makes Twitch Twitch. Teams within Community are responsible for a myriad of product areas impacting the creator viewer and moderator journeys on our platform. As a member of our team youll build solutions that improve g the experience of millions of daily active users on our platform and create tools that keep both streamers and viewers engaged and connected on our platform.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering a related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively collaborate with teammates is critical to success.
- A track record of building consumer-facing products that users love
- Demonstrable experience of modern programming languages and frameworks
- Sharp problem-solving skills with a focus on algorithms data structures and schema design

- Experience with mobile development either native or hybrid
- Familiarity with Twitchs tech stack: Golang Typescript/React
- Experience with AWS technologies like ECS DynamoDB Lambda SQS and Step Functions
- A passion for gaming streaming or the Twitch platform

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
