Position Overview

St. Vincents Medical Center in partnership with Southwest Family Health Center is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency Program clinic in Bridgeport Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician interested in teaching mentorship and academic medicine while maintaining a strong clinical focuswithout the responsibility of managing an independent patient panel.

Faculty physicians provide primary care exclusively in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians within a supportive academically rich environment.

Position Highlights

  • Per Diem as needed for clinic coverage
  • Clinical work is performed with residents
  • Clinic Hours: MondayFriday no weekends
  • No call

Clinical Setting

  • Residency continuity clinic located at Southwest Community Health Center
  • Missiondriven communitybased practice serving a diverse urban population
  • Strong collaboration with residency leadership and interdisciplinary teams
