Job Summary

Join Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) in a dynamic role where youll have end-to-end ownership of Professional Delivery Services processes (i.e. Installation of a Built-In Dishwasher) and strategies while contributing to Waste and Recycling initiatives. Youll be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery with optimal cost efficiency while maintaining rigorous standards for Recycling and Waste management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive process improvement and stakeholder management across the AMXL network which specializes in heavy items like furniture and large home appliances.

In this role youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancement implement data-backed solutions and drive strategic initiatives that support our specialized fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Key job responsibilities
- Plan implement and improve initiatives that ensure smooth operations for Professional Delivery Services applying process improvement methodologies to enhance system quality and operational excellence.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships building consensus among teams and working autonomously to address systemic issues in Professional Delivery Services
- Support on different projects related to Waste and Recycling fields.
- Analyze performance metrics and operational data to identify improvement opportunities develop action plans and implement strategic solutions that optimize cost while maintaining high service standards.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand operational needs share expertise and implement data-driven process improvements that align with organizational goals.
- Lead the implementation of new programs from conception to completion managing program lifecycles while ensuring proper communication documentation and risk mitigation throughout delivery.

A day in the life
Your day will involve both proactive planning and reactive problem-solving as you analyze our Services environment and work to resolve operational issues. Youll collaborate with Amazon colleagues across departments to share expertise and identify improvement opportunities. Youll monitor performance indicators and metrics to unlock our networks full potential while supporting your team in meeting important deliverables. Working from one of our offices youll engage with various internal and external stakeholders balancing strategic planning with hands-on implementation of solutions that enhance our service delivery.

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) specializes in heavy items like furniture and large home appliances managing the entire service from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns. What distinguishes this service is our exceptional customer carewe not only deliver large items but also unpack assemble and install them while offering removal of old items when needed. With a focus on safety productivity and innovation were transforming how customers purchase and receive large goods.

Our team has ambitious plans to expand specialized fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While delivery station staff may work night shifts most team members work during daytime hours. Our diverse team includes professionals from operations supply chain business intelligence and program management with everyone playing a crucial role in growing this part of the business.

- Masters degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Relevant experience working in a supply chain transportation project management or management consulting role
- Relevant experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects
- Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders

- Experience in process improvement
- Understanding of SQL
