Technician Service and Maintenance

What are we looking for
For the largest online retailer in the Benelux we are setting up a Technical Service department for the locations in Nieuwegein and Waalwijk. We are looking for 3 Maintenance Technicians who will form the Technical Service team for these two sites. Together you will ensure that the performance levels of the systems at both locations are optimal and remain so. You will do this by resolving malfunctions coordinating and carrying out inspections and maintenance and managing the required spare this way you are an important link between the client () the two sites and the MHS headquarters.

As a Maintenance Technician you will work on a rotating basis at both locations according to a shift schedule.

• At the Waalwijk location you will initially work from 07:00 to 15:30 (start and end times may vary).
• At the Nieuwegein location there are two shifts: 07:0015:30 and 15:0023:30 (start and end times may vary).

Depending on the workload you will support or replace each other across both locations. Flexibility and availability in both morning and evening shifts are essential for this role. You will receive a travel allowance for commuting and traveling between the two sites. Preferably you live between Nieuwegein and Waalwijk.

Your main tasks:

• Performing inspections and maintenance
  You are in constant contact with the client regarding system performance and ensure that systems are functioning and continue to function properly. You carry out mechanical and electrical consultation with the client and the MHS contract manager you perform scheduled maintenance at agreed times either independently or with a colleague.
• Troubleshooting and analysis
  You are present during the clients operations and intervene when malfunctions occur. You identify the root cause and resolve issues. You also support and train the client in the proper use of the system.
• Coordination and optimization
  Together with your MHS colleagues you ensure that spare parts inventory is up to date and coordinate new deliveries. You also contribute to optimizing work processes and tasks helping to improve operations and prevent deviations.

Knowledge level:

• At least a completed MBO (vocational) degree in Electronics Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience in a service-oriented technical and/or logistics organization.
• Knowledge of and experience with PLC control systems is a plus.
• Familiar with safety requirements in a production environment (VCA certification).
• You have a valid drivers license (Category B).
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
