Department Overview

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop teams of engineers fostering a culture of innovation support and high performance.

• Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members with their career development.

• Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce best practices in engineering processes to enhance overall operational performance.

• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of high-priority complex technical initiatives.

Strategic Execution: Provide updates to the leadership team on team progress risks and issues.

Basic Requirements

• Education: MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science Telecommunications or a related technical engineering discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience and knowledge of the software development process and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Communication Skills: Excellent English language skills allowing efficient global communication.

• Problem Solving: Ability to identify roadblocks and drive them promptly to resolution.

• AI Proficiency: Demonstrated eagerness to explore test and integrate AI and automation capabilities into routine tasks to drive continuous improvement in engineering efficiency.

• Compensation Advocacy and Recognition: Ability to provide fair recognition and advocate for appropriate rewards promotions and compensation for team members ensuring process transparency.

• Technical Background: Prior experience as Developer Architect or other technical role.
