Job Summary

CCFBank is currently searching for a Credit Analyst to join our team! This position is onsite in Eau Claire WI. Are you ready to provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers As a Credit Analyst you would be responsible for analyzing credit information for current and potential borrowers determining the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans assisting loan officers in writing loan requests and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Gathers data from customers internal and external sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; obtains additional information and clarification of data.
  • Compiles data from credit bureaus conducts industry peer comparisons and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
  • Obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from banker.
  • Verifies collateral and lien position
  • Communicates with Ag/Commercial Bankers when working credits spreads and ticklers
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to process and service loans
  • Develops knowledge of financial industry economy market conditions rates vendors and competition.
  • May represent the Bank in various community civic and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Banks image and develop additional business.
  • Updates and corresponds with special assets department on workouts bankruptcies and charge-offs to ensure all possible precautionary actions or measures are taken.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies procedures and processes and all applicable state and federal banking laws rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Performs annual reviews on credit portfolio to establish trends ensuring proper risk rating.
  • Compile credit action presentation complete with accurate financial data and detailed narrative to aid in the credit decisioning process
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in accounting finance or related field.
  • One year credit analyst experience.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Access.
