Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) for a 13-week assignment in Portland Oregon. The ideal candidate will perform specialized vascular ultrasound procedures in a high-acuity acute care and teaching hospital environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures
- Evaluate blood flow and vascular structures using ultrasound technology
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation of findings
- Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment planning
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent vascular ultrasound experience required
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) experience required
- Oregon OBMI State License required
- Strong knowledge of vascular imaging procedures and patient care standards
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- First-time travelers accepted
