Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in Manchester MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility including transferring and positioning.
- Help with light household tasks meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must pass background check and possess valid identification.
