TheDanceCoach willbe responsible forall aspects ofdeveloping andcoaching responsible forthe recruitment ofstudent-athleteswhile also supporting a culture that offers a positivestudent-athlete experience.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

• Attendcheerevents. This includes presence at practices RU home gamesspecial events and cheer competitions.

• Evaluate academically and athletically qualifiedstudent-athletesfor recruitment.

• Plan and implement instructional practices that maximize the talent and potential of student-athletes while instilling values such as sportsmanship leadership and personal wellness.

• Demonstrate the ability to relate to and motivate student-athletes and to work with a variety ofUniversitystaff alumni and the outside community.

• Promote the mission of the Athletic Department and Rockhurst University

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Time management skills

• Minimum 2 years of cheer coaching experience

• Preferred dancecoaching and/or participation at the collegiate level

• Bachelors Degree
