Job Summary
Business Professional Intern
The Business Professional Intern provides hands-on administrative and operational support to the Finance practice group in the Dallas office of Jackson Walker. This role offers exposure to professional services operations within a large law firm environment and supports day-to-day activities projects and initiatives while developing foundational professional skills.

Internship Dates: June 1st 2026 - August 31st 2026
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with daily departmental operations projects and administrative tasks.
- Conduct research compile data and prepare reports or presentations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and observations.
- Collaborate with team members on short-term and ongoing assignments.
- Attend firm orientation and departmental overview sessions.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of firm client and personnel information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current college student or post-graduate student (within two years of graduation).
- Coursework in a related field preferred and demonstrated interest in professional services or law firm operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Demonstrated initiative attention to detail and professionalism.
WORK CONDITIONS:
This position operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or temperature variations. Standard work hours may vary by department need and may require up to 37.5 hours per week.
- The expected work schedule for this position is on-site 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
