The role
This is a handson delivery role for an experienced project professional who wants to work atscale. As a Senior Project Officer FleetMobilityand Innovation you will lead and coordinate wholeofgovernment initiatives that improve fleetutilisation strengthen datadriven decisionmaking and enable more contemporary ways of working across NSW Government.
Working closely with agencies and central partners you will progress complex projects from concept through to implementation delivering practical outcomes that support efficiencysustainabilityand innovation.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate and manage the planning development implementation and evaluation of wholeofgovernment fleet and mobility projects.
- Develop and manage project plans schedules and reporting to ensure delivery within agreed scopetimeframesand quality standards.
- Lead stakeholder engagementconsultationand governance activities to support adoption and successful implementation of initiatives.
- Enhance the use of technologysystemsand data insights to support improved fleet and mobility outcomes.
- Monitor project risks issuesbenefitsrealisationand performance providing clear advice and recommendations.
- Manage and support project team membersfosteringcollaboration and accountability.

What you will bring to the role
You are an experienced project practitioner who is comfortable working in complex evolving environments. You bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering programs or projects in government or largeorganisations ideally in fleet transport mobilityinfrastructureor assetintensive environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to balance competing interests and priorities.
- Experience using datainsightsor business intelligence to inform decisionmaking and improve outcomes.
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage risksissuesand dependencies across multiple initiatives.
- A proactive collaborative leadership style and a focus on delivery and continuous improvement.
What is an essential requirement:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in program/project management policy operations commercial or related disciplines.
