We are currently looking for a Feature Specialist
Description
Typically 12 years of experience in the field of feature specialization. Has an up-to-date understanding of market trends and is able to leverage strong internal and external networks to remain ahead of the game. Deep understanding of the mining and quarry industry is required. Previous experience working with the JAMA tool and driving continuous improvements is an advantage.
Role Description Feature Specialist
A Feature Specialist supports and steers the evolution of feature areas and product use cases in line with product strategy and plans. The role translates customer operations stakeholder input and product targets into clear structured requirements and contributes to shaping competitive autonomous transport solutions.
Working closely with Feature Leaders Product Planners and engineering teams the Feature Specialist drives feature development across projects supports solution development and balances targets to ensure alignment between customer needs technical feasibility and business objectives.
The role includes contributing to early pre-studies building a strong understanding of customer operations and ensuring that requirements and documentation are consistent up to date and aligned across teams and stakeholders. The Feature Specialist also supports requirement management activities and fosters alignment through active collaboration.
At more senior levels the role takes a leading position in complex initiatives drives cross-functional alignment and contributes to developing both the team and the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities
Define and refine feature areas and product use cases in line with product strategy
Translate customer operations and stakeholder input into structured requirements
Support feature development across projects
Balance requirements across performance cost and quality
Conduct early pre-studies and analyze customer operations and use cases
Ensure alignment and synchronization of requirements across teams and projects
Maintain and continuously improve documentation and requirement quality
Collaborate with stakeholders to anchor solutions
Support requirement management processes tools and ways of working
Drive continuous improvement of features and product offering
Deliverables
Product use cases (end-to-end operational scenarios)
Feature requirements and specifications (e.g. in JAMA or similar tools)
Pre-study analyses (customer operations gaps opportunities)
Requirement breakdowns (from high-level targets to detailed requirements)
Trade-off analyses (cost vs performance vs safety)
Feature descriptions and capability definitions
Customer-facing documentation (operational descriptions manuals training input)
Alignment material (presentations decision support stakeholder reviews)
Input to product roadmap and feature prioritization
