Fluid dynamics engineer (cfd)

We are currently collaborating with a leading HVAC industry company based in Madrid. which is looking to add a Fluid dynamics engineer (cfd) to its team.

About the Role:

Within the Engineering Department the selected candidate will be responsible for the simulation and analysis of flow and heat transfer systems in HVAC equipment using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CFD simulations for airflow analysis heat transfer and thermal behavior of HVAC equipment.

• Develop validate and optimize numerical models.

• Manage maintain and improve existing macros and automation tools within the group.

• Collaborate with design teams to support product optimization.

• Participate in international projects as part of the Central Engineering Team.

• Define and monitor validation tests.

• Prepare technical reports and documentation of results.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering Aeronautical Engineering or similar.

• Experience in CFD simulation applied to thermal or fluid systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Star CCM (primary working software).

• Strong programming skills (Java Python or similar) for macro development and maintenance.

• Ability to manage and enhance existing automation processes.

• Knowledge of 3D CAD tools (NX is a plus).

• High level of English (mandatory).
